1. What Regrado is
Regrado is a personal finance organisation service that works inside WhatsApp and through its own chat on the site. You send a message, a voice note or a photo of a receipt; it understands it, logs it, categorises it, remembers your bills and shows you where your money went.
What it is not, and this matters:
- It is not a bank, a payment institution, a broker or a card issuer.
- It is not financial, investment, accounting or tax advice. Nothing it shows is an investment recommendation.
- It does not move your money, does not pay bills for you and does not connect to your bank.
Decisions about your money remain yours.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over, have legal capacity and an active WhatsApp number. By using Regrado you declare that it is really you and that the number is yours.
3. Your account
The account is born on WhatsApp: you send the first message and it opens right there in the conversation, with no sign-up and no form. Your number is your identity here, and it is verified by WhatsApp itself.
- Keep access to your number. Whoever has the number has the conversation.
- If you lose the number or change SIM, talk to support before someone else receives it.
- You are responsible for what is done on your account.
4. Free trial, price and billing
- Trial. The trial period is free, starts with the first message and asks for no card. When it ends, Regrado tells you on WhatsApp and shows you how to continue. If you would rather not, just stop sending messages, and nothing is charged.
- Price. The price that applies is the one on the home page at the time you subscribe. If the price changes, existing subscribers stay on the agreed amount until we give advance notice of any change.
- How you pay. With a Brazilian WhatsApp number, you are billed in Brazilian reais, processed by Asaas, by PIX or credit card. With a WhatsApp number from outside Brazil, you are billed in US dollars, processed by Stripe, by card only. Existing subscribers keep paying the way they subscribed. Card details are typed into the Asaas or Stripe environment and do not pass through Regrado.
- Paying in US dollars. The price is the one on Regrado's page in English and in Spanish, currently US$ 9.90 a month, and the card must be issued outside Brazil. If your card is from Brazil, Stripe does not accept it in dollars, and you can pay in reais through Asaas, at the Brazilian price. You can also change the card and cancel the subscription on Stripe's page, which Regrado sends you in the chat. On a refund, the amount goes back in US dollars, and your bank's conversion may change it by a few cents.
- Renewal. The subscription is monthly and renews by itself until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You cancel whenever you want, with no penalty and no lock-in. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Withdrawal and refund. Within 7 days of the first payment you may cancel with a full refund, through support. It is the period set by article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor), and we honour it without arguing.
- Failed payment. If the charge does not go through, Regrado tells you and tries again. After the period stated in that notice, access pauses. Your data stays stored; nothing is deleted over a payment.
5. Acceptable use
By using Regrado, you undertake not to:
- Use someone else's account or impersonate anyone.
- Try to break, bypass or overload the service, or test its security without written authorisation.
- Use automation to generate artificial message volume.
- Send illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Resell, sublicense or present the service as if it were yours.
Fair use. There are daily limits on audio, on images and on file size, so the service keeps working for everyone. They are generous for personal use and are subject to adjustment. When you reach a limit, Regrado tells you right away.
6. What you send stays yours
The content you send is yours. You give us only the licence the service needs in order to exist: to receive, process, store and show back to you what you sent, including sending the text, the audio or the image to the artificial intelligence providers that read it. Nothing beyond that.
We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it. The details of who receives what are in the Privacy Policy.
7. The AI gets things wrong
Regrado uses AI to understand your message, transcribe audio and read receipts. It is right most of the time and it is not right every time. An amount can be read wrong, a category can come out swapped, a transcription can change a word.
So: check what it logged. Every confirmation appears in the conversation precisely so you can look at it, and correcting it is one sentence ("it was 45, fix it"). Regrado is an organisation tool, and the final number is your responsibility.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service up, and we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Regrado depends on third parties we do not control, in particular WhatsApp, the messaging platform and the AI and payment providers. When one of them goes down, part of the service goes with it. That is why the in-app chat exists: if WhatsApp fails, the conversation continues on the site.
We may carry out maintenance, change features and discontinue functions. A relevant change is announced with reasonable notice.
9. Suspension and termination
- You can terminate whenever you want, and you can delete your account from the dashboard.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that uses the service for fraud, or where the law requires it. Whenever possible, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
- If we terminate without fault on your part, we refund the proportional share of the period already paid.
10. Intellectual property
The Regrado brand, the site, the app, the code and the design are ours. These terms transfer none of that to you: they give you the right to use the service while your account exists.
11. Limitation of liability
Regrado is an organisation tool. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a financial decision taken on the basis of what it showed, for indirect loss, loss of profit, or for the failure of a third-party service we do not control.
Nothing here sets aside the rights that Brazil's Consumer Protection Code gives you. Where consumer law is more favourable to you, consumer law prevails.
12. Changes to these terms
When they change, the date at the top changes with them. A relevant change is announced on WhatsApp, in advance. If you disagree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's domicile are elected to resolve any dispute, as Brazil's Consumer Protection Code requires.
